How it works

From sign-up to live, step by step.

Here is what happens after you say yes, what we do, and what we need from you. No surprises on the call, because you have already read it here.

  • A real person calls within one business day.Not a drip of emails. Someone who sets businesses up on MinerOp every week.
  • Your website is included in every plan.Built for your business, with booking, forms and payments already wired in.
  • You keep what already works.Your payment account, your calendar, your domain and your customer list come with you.
The walkthrough

Eight steps, one person helping you through them.

Most of these happen on the setup call or in the days around it. An automotive shop, a restaurant and a massage studio all go through the same steps; what we build at each one is different.

  1. Sign up, or talk to us first.

Pick a plan and tell us about your business on the get started page. Would rather ask questions first? Send us a note or call (470) 533-0581. Either way, a real person calls you within one business day.

What you bringYour name, your business, and the best number to reach you.
  2. The setup call.

We learn how you quote, book and get paid today, what you want customers to be able to do on your site, and what you are moving from. By the end of the call you know what we are building, what we need from you, and the timeline for your business. There is a one-time setup fee for building your account. We tell you what it is for your business on the call, before anything is billed.

What you bringAbout half an hour, and honest answers about how the business runs now.
  3. Your website.

Every plan includes a website, and we build it for your business rather than dropping your name into a template. Online booking, quote and contact forms, and payments are built in, so a visitor can book, ask or pay without leaving the page. It runs on your own domain. If you already have one, we move it over with you. If you do not, we help you get one.

What you bringYour logo, your brand colors, photos of your work, and a look at your current site if you have one.
  4. Connect payments.

Square, Clover, Stripe or PayPal: you connect the merchant account you already have, and the money keeps landing where it lands today. Deposits, invoices, pay links and card on file all run through it. Card numbers never touch MinerOp.

What you bringYour login for Square, Clover, Stripe or PayPal.
  5. Bring your customers.

Upload a spreadsheet of your customers, and for shops, their vehicles too. You check the file before anything is imported, so a wrong column never becomes a wrong record. Coming from Shopmonkey, Urable or QuickBooks? We import straight from there. Nobody is messaged when you import. Your customers hear from you when you decide, not the day the list lands.

What you bringA spreadsheet, or the login to the system you are leaving.
  6. Connect your calendar.

Connect Google Calendar, which syncs both ways, or Outlook. Online booking then only offers times you can actually take, and a booking made on your site shows up where you already look.

What you bringThe Google or Microsoft account your calendar lives in.
  7. Add a business line.Optional

A local business number from $49 a month, so the business line stops being your cell. Calls work as soon as the number is live. Texting from a business number needs carrier registration first, which can take days to a few weeks, and we handle the paperwork. See Business Phone for what is on each phone plan.

What you bringYour business address and tax ID for the carrier registration, if you want texting.
  8. Go live.

Your site goes up and every inquiry, booking and quote request lands in one place. Reminders, review requests, come-back invites and campaigns are there when you are ready to switch them on, not forced on day one. After launch you can still reach us by phone and email.

What you provide

Gather these and the setup goes faster.

None of it has to be polished. We would rather have a phone photo today than a perfect file next month.

  • Your logo and brand colorsWhatever you have. A photo of the sign works.
  • Your services and pricesA menu, a price list, or what you quote from memory.
  • Hours and locationsIncluding the days you are closed.
  • Photos of your workPhone photos are fine.
  • Your customer listA spreadsheet, or your old system’s login.
  • Your payment account loginSquare, Clover, Stripe or PayPal.
  • Access to your domain, if you have oneWe walk you through it on the call.

Missing something on the list? Tell us on the call. Nothing here holds up the start.

Questions

What owners ask before the call.

Do I need to change how I run my business?
No. The setup call starts with how you quote, book and get paid today, and we build around that. You keep your payment account, your calendar and your number. What changes is that it all lands in one place instead of five.
Can I keep my current website for now?
Yes. Your MinerOp site is included in every plan, but you choose when your domain points at it. Until then, booking and quote forms can run on their own links, and we move the domain over when you are ready.
What if I have no customer list yet?
Then you skip that step. Every inquiry, booking and payment from launch onward builds the list for you, and if you later find a spreadsheet or an old system, we import it then.
How long does it take?
It depends on what you are moving from and how much you are bringing over. We tell you the timeline for your business on the setup call, before anything is built, and we keep you posted as it comes together.
