Deleting Your Data
How to disconnect a connected account and have your information removed.
Last updated: August 22, 2026
If you have connected a Facebook Page or an Instagram Business account to MinerOp, you can disconnect it at any time and have the information we hold for it deleted. This page explains how, and exactly what happens when you do.
1. Disconnect from your settings
This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.
- Sign in to your MinerOp account at portal.minerop.com.
- Go to Settings, then Managed Socials.
- Find the connected account and select Disconnect.
2. Or ask us to do it
If you cannot sign in, or you would rather we handled it, email support@minerop.com from the address on your account and tell us which account you want disconnected. We will confirm once it is done.
3. What happens when you disconnect
Disconnecting does two things straight away:
- We give up our access. We tell Facebook to revoke the permission you granted us, so it stops working at their end, not just ours.
- We delete the stored access keys. The credentials that allowed us to publish on your behalf are removed from our systems.
After that, MinerOp can no longer post to your Page or Instagram account, read comments on your posts, or read how those posts performed.
4. What we delete, and what we keep
Disconnecting removes our access and the stored credentials, as above. It does not delete the content we made for you: your captions, images and videos, and the record of what was published and when. That is your work, and if you come back to the service later it will still be there.
If you want that removed as well, email support@minerop.com and we will delete it, along with anything we read from Facebook or Instagram such as comments on your posts and their performance figures.
Your billing records are kept, because we are required to retain them for accounting and tax purposes.
Posts that were already published to your Facebook Page or Instagram account stay on those accounts. They belong to you, and they are on Facebook and Instagram rather than on MinerOp, so deleting them is done from those platforms directly. If you would like a post removed and you have not yet disconnected, you can delete it from your MinerOp account and we will remove it from the platform for you.
5. Deleting your whole MinerOp account
This page covers connected social accounts. If you want your entire MinerOp account and all of its data deleted, email support@minerop.com and we will handle it. See our Privacy Policy for how we treat your information more generally.
