Our Story
The name MinerOp comes from "mining" for "opportunities". Just as miners uncover valuable resources beneath the surface, we help small businesses discover hidden potential and implement the right technology to thrive.
Built by Someone Who Gets It
MinerOp was founded by Phill Gibson, a 17-year Microsoft technology veteran with close to 25 years in the technology industry.
After years of watching local small businesses struggle with technology—buying expensive software that didn't fit their needs, getting locked into complex systems they couldn't understand, or simply not knowing where to start—Phill built a passion for giving back to the small business community.
That passion became MinerOp: a different kind of technology consulting that puts small businesses first.
I've spent my whole career architecting, developing, building, and deploying some of the most sophisticated technologies to the largest corporations in the world. I know what it takes to build a business and utilize technology to grow fast.
For the most part, what I see in small businesses with 1 to 20 employees is companies being pressed to buy software and technology that either doesn't fit their business or can't address their specific needs. Most of the time I see businesses spend way too much for a product in desperation to solve a problem, only for it to be too complex to understand and gain real value.
I'm here to provide small business owners a new option—one that meets their specific needs as a growing business.
